I had the opportunity to head north and meet up with Wiley Miller for a late season trip into the high alpine of British Columbia. I spent a total of 4 days days following Wiley and crew around the backcountry documenting the productivity after a late season storm and the crazy work ethic it takes to get it all done. Wiley has spent the previous few months scouting the territory of interior BC and once the conditions were right, he made quick work of his “to-do” list for each of the zones we visited. See the selected photos below for a glimpse into interior BC.
This trip was the first time Wiley got to ski on the new Saga x 4Frnt collab YLE ski.
Getting cell reception at the tops of mountains…
Each day began with a series of warm-up runs on some of the more forgiving aspects, this provided a good time to get the settings dialed. Wiley below makes a slash in the sunlight.
On this particular day the light was variable at best but Wiley managed to get a few nice shots on this small cliff while warming up for the bigger hits to follow.
Sagafam Jordan Clarke joined the crew during the 4 days and was a much welcomed addition.
Far left you can see Wiley and Jordan hiking to the ridge for a run down the spines.
I was humbled by the size and never ending mountain ranges in this part of the country.
