With the fall colors in our backyards, comes the busiest time of the season for the crew at Saga Headquarters. Shipping season, the arrival of new gear and the onset of winter combine to make this my favorite time of the year here. The liveliness of summer continues on even as the tempature drops and there is so much going on its overwhelming at times. With so many ski premiers and great music coming to town Salt Lake City is a great place to be during the fall. Also, as if that isn’t enough, Odesza is coming into town this weekend! I got to see them a few weeks ago at the world Premiere of Almost Ablaze in Jackson Hole and I cannot wait to hear them play again. Speaking of Teton Gravity, their movie Almost Ablaze (which won best movie at IF3) played to a 2,300 person crowd in SLC mid-September, and they are coming back for a park city show on October 18th.
As more and more product comes into the warehouse during this time of the season, we have some extra hands on deck. Its important to have more people in the warehouse making sure the gear gets packed and out the door to YOU! Another cool thing about the warehouse being located in SLC is the fact that a majority of the Saga team aka #sagafam live in SLC/Park City. This means that most of the riders just come in to hang out and pick up their gear for the season. From skating the mini, playing foosball, ping-pong and Xbox to checking out samples and future designs, there is always something going on in the office where the athletes can be involved. So if your in SLC stop by and check out the show room, get a signed poster and free stickers, well even give you a tour of the entire headquarters if your wondering what is happening behind the secret door! Also feel free to find the Saga employees on instagram along with all the athletes. Obviously the lives of the sagafam skiers and snowboarders are interesting, but so are the feeds of the employees who are just as much a part of the #sagafam as the ones who do the flippy spinny tricks.
We spend a lot of time on our showroom to showcase the new products in the best way possible for our customers.
